“Casual & Cozy” is a layered living room refresh in Buffalo, NY designed to transform a once bland room into a warm, welcoming, and deeply personal home. Through thoughtful furnishings, custom soft goods, subtle patterns, natural textures, and curated updates throughout the main living space, this project blends timeless comfort with elevated everyday living for a busy family.
Design Approach
Some spaces are designed to simply look beautiful …Others are designed to pull people together 🌿 This living room was created to do both.
From the very beginning, we envisioned this space as layered, meaningful, and lived-in. A place where found art pieces have a home, family photos tell a story, and oversized chairs invite people to slow down for game nights, conversations, and quiet moments together.
We carried this project from concept and planning through to the final installation details, carefully curating every layer, including a reconstructed fireplace, furnishings, textures, lighting, and these dreamy custom curtains that completely softened the space.
