OUR HOUSE has many years of experience remodeling, repairing, and rebuilding homes that present structural and financial challenges. Helping our clients to make good decisions is very important to us. We have a trusted network of skilled and talented subcontractors and craftsmen with whom we have worked for many years. We stand behind the work we do.
Our project managers use online software to keep you linked in to the day to day activity. Project Management involves the following:

HANDYMAN SERVICES
We're excited to officially launch our newest department … After opening up our schedule a couple weeks back to simple small 'handyman' type jobs, we discovered a large need to have a professional and trusted source for the smaller house repairs that inevitably come up.
We've also found that while our design client list is very full, it's helpful for us to have small construction projects to fill in around our large scale projects. So, we're launching an Hourly Construction Service department. Our crew is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable and scheduling them to come handle your small jobs is simple.

STEP 1: PLANNING
We begin with a consultation at your home. This initial visit from a member of the OUR HOUSE team allows us to meet each other in person and see the existing space first-hand. This first conversation helps us to define the scope of your project and discuss the improvements you desire to make. It is also important to talk about your budget and time-frame at this meeting. In many cases, we can gather enough information during this visit to present you with a detailed estimate for the work involved. Depending on the complexity of the project, we may suggest you work with our design team to articulate a design before a truly accurate estimate of costs can be presented.

STEP 2: DESIGNING YOUR SPACE
We approach design in a collaborative way and consider, you, our client, to be instrumental in the process.
1. First we visit your home to discuss the improvements you would like to make and learn more about you and your lifestyle. During this visit, we will measure and photograph the space.
2. Within a 2-3 week period, we will work to prepare a Preliminary Design Proposal that will present multiple design solutions for your consideration.
3. Next, we move into Design Development which is the process by which we refine the design focusing on more detail. Depending on the complexity of the project, the design development stage can take a few days or several weeks.
4. Once we have refined the details of your design, Construction Drawings are prepared for our construction team.

STEP 3: CREATING THE LOOK + FEEL
We want to help you create a space that’s comfortable to live in and reflects your personal style. Thoughtful selection of finishes and fixtures is the key to creating the right look and feel for your space. Our designers are available to assist you as much or as little as you’d like.
We can develop fully articulated design schemes for you, making choices for tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and countertops choices on your behalf. Or if you have a strong sense of what you like, you may choose to shop on your own, visiting local vendors with our guidance.
This proposal will include floor plans, elevations, and full-color 3D renderings. We will present this proposal to you by email, but also invite you into our showroom to review the drawings in person and take a virtual tour of the space on our CAD software.
