Do you find yourself in a home that feels small, outdated, and lacking in character? In a household with multiple busy schedules, it’s easy to overlook how the dim kitchen, impractical cabinetry, and lack of storage are quietly limiting your daily joy and well-being. You are not alone, so many houses in the Buffalo, NY area suffer from this and this is why we have created this step by step process for Kitchen Design.

With a love of the classic, a flair for the dramatic, and a commitment to craftsmanship, we reveal what’s truly possible for your space, guiding you through a refined process that transforms your home into a thoughtfully designed sanctuary where you can rediscover the joy of home

  • Every kitchen design project begins with a conversation about your goals, lifestyle, budget, and the way your family uses the space.

We start with a 15 Minute Video Consultation so we can get to know you, your project and your home. This is where we make sure we are a good fit for you and your home.

Whether you are planning a kitchen remodel in Buffalo, NY, Clarence, Amherst, Orchard Park, Williamsville, East Aurora, Lancaster, Hamburg, or the surrounding Western New York area, our team takes time to understand your vision before design work begins..

  • We start by taking detailed measurements of the existing kitchen, including walls, windows, doorways, ceiling heights, plumbing locations, electrical locations, and appliance zones. Accurate measurements allow us to create a thoughtful kitchen layout that supports custom cabinetry, traffic flow, storage needs, and future remodeling plans for homes throughout Buffalo and the surrounding suburbs.

  • Next, we develop moodboards to establish the overall look and feel of your kitchen design. These may include cabinetry styles, color palettes, countertop inspiration, hardware, lighting, flooring, tile, and finish details that help define the design direction early in the process while reflecting the character of your home and lifestyle.

  • Using the field measurements and design goals, we create an initial kitchen layout focused on function, flow, and everyday use. This step includes cabinet placement, appliance locations, island sizing, storage solutions, seating areas, and opportunities for custom built-ins or handcrafted millwork from our in-house cabinet shop serving Buffalo, Clarence, Amherst, Orchard Park, and surrounding Western New York communities.

  • Once the initial layout and design direction are developed, we present the kitchen concept for review. This design pitch gives clients a clear understanding of the proposed layout, cabinetry plan, materials, finishes, and overall direction before moving deeper into selections and construction planning.

  • One of the most important phases of the kitchen design process is cabinetry coordination and storage planning. During this meeting, we review cabinet configurations, drawer layouts, pantry storage, appliance integration, organizational accessories, and project-specific functionality to ensure the kitchen is tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle and daily routines.

Because our custom cabinetry is designed and built in-house, we are able to create highly personalized storage solutions for homeowners throughout Buffalo, Clarence, Amherst, Orchard Park, East Aurora, and surrounding Western New York communities. From hidden appliance garages and oversized island storage to custom spice drawers, mudroom built-ins, and entertaining spaces, every detail is thoughtfully planned for both beauty and functionality.

  • During the selection phase, we guide clients through cabinetry finishes, countertops, backsplash tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, appliances, and paint colors. Our design-build approach helps homeowners throughout Buffalo, Williamsville, East Aurora, and Hamburg create kitchens that feel cohesive, functional, and timeless.

  • Before construction begins, we review the final kitchen design, cabinet layouts, finish selections, and project details with the client. Once everything is approved, the client sign-off allows our team, cabinet shop, and contractors to move forward with a clear and organized remodeling plan.

  • Our team coordinates with contractors, trades, and vendors to keep the kitchen renovation aligned with the approved design. This includes communication around plumbing, electrical, framing, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, and installation details to ensure a smooth remodeling experience from start to finish.

  • Throughout the renovation, we conduct project site visits to review progress, answer questions, confirm design details, and help solve field conditions as they arise. These visits help protect the original design intent and ensure the finished kitchen reflects the level of craftsmanship and detail our Buffalo-area clients expect.

  • At the end of the project, we complete a final walkthrough with the client to review the completed kitchen remodel. Any remaining touch-ups or adjustments are documented in a punch list, and final sign-off happens once every detail is completed and the space is ready to enjoy for years to come.
