Moving across the country and buying a home sight unseen always comes with a bit of adventure—and this one was no exception. This family made the journey back to Dad’s Buffalo roots, landing in a charming older home that, at first, needed a little convincing—especially for Mom.

A small kitchen and cramped storage weren’t exactly love at first sight, but that’s where we came in.
